1. Volunteer Opportunity:
Join the YMCA team as a volunteer and help create a positive impact in your community! Volunteers play a key role in supporting our programs, services, and events, ensuring the YMCA remains a welcoming and vibrant space for all.
2. General YMCA Volunteer Responsibilities Include:
Partner with YMCA Leadership Team to assist in key program areas, including Member Services, Youth Activities, ForeverWell, Kids Stuff programs, Aquatics, and more. Provide general support as needed to help maintain smooth daily operations and an inclusive atmosphere for members and participants.
3. YMCA Volunteer Qualifications/Requirements:
• Passion for giving back to the community
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to member safety and to promoting the YMCA’s mission of fostering healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
• Volunteer application
• Face-to-face interview
• Criminal Background Check
• Signed Code of Conduct
• Completion of online New Volunteer Orientation (NVO)
4. Additional Notes:
This volunteer opportunity represents the primary needs identified at this time but
is not intended to be all-inclusive. The volunteer will also be responsible for taking
direction from their supervisor or other designated YMCA team member.
