1. Volunteer Opportunity
Join the YMCA team as a volunteer and
help create a positive impact in your community! Volunteers play a key role in
supporting our programs, services, and events, ensuring the YMCA remains a
welcoming and vibrant space for all.
2. General YMCA Volunteer
Responsibilities Include
Partner with YMCA Leadership Team to
assist in key program areas, including custodial and food/essential supply and more. Provide general support as needed
to help maintain smooth daily operations and an inclusive atmosphere for
members and participants and the communities we serve.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Passion for giving back to the
community
• Strong interpersonal and
teamwork skills.
• A commitment to member safety and to
promoting the YMCA’s mission of fostering healthy spirit, mind, and body
for all.
• Volunteer application - you are working on this now!
• Face-to-face interview/conversation with YMCA leadership
• Annual Criminal Background Check (for new members) you will automatically receive an invitation via email from Sterling to complete. Once cleared, you will receive another email confirmation with further instruction.

This volunteer opportunity represents
the primary needs identified at this time but
is not intended to be all-inclusive.
The volunteer will also be responsible for taking
direction from their supervisor or
other designated YMCA team member.
