Who We Are
Y Adventure Lab is the outdoor adventure arm of the YMCA of the North, providing opportunities for people to be active in the outdoors in the greater Minneapolis and St. Paul areas of MN and WI. We bring new innovations that break down barriers and make nature and the outdoors the go-to place to form life-long healthy habits all can enjoy.

What We Do
We create outdoor experiences that build confidence and community. We are reaching into our communities to create experiences that can serve all ages, in many ways!
- Our adventure events throughout the year, including the Kidarod (February), Mess Fest (May), BreakAway Kids Triathlon and family Splash & Dash (August), and Resilinator (October), allow kids and adults to get outside, be active and adventurous.
- Our Unlock It! program provides self-guided, year-round, outdoor, scavenger hunt-like experiences to allow you to be outdoors and curious, and can be completed when your schedule allows.
We have many ways for you to experience nature, add some adventure to your schedule, and connect with other like-minded people. Come join us!
