Who We Are
The YMCA's Neighborhood Centers are dedicated to helping families in their communities overcome poverty by providing essential services and creating opportunities for success.
Through collaborative programs that engage public institutions, youth, and families, our Neighborhood Centers are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering young people and their parents or guardians. We prioritize essential needs like education, employment, health, civic involvement, social connections, and economic resources to help families thrive and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
What We Do
- Before, during, and after-school support for K-6 students during the school year, as well as enriching experiential programs like YMCA camping.
- Career pathways, leadership development, life skills training, and civic engagement opportunities for students in grades 6-12.
- Adult and community programs, including ESL classes, early childhood family education (ECFE), and other resources to support families and strengthen communities.
