Coaches become some of the most influential voices in a child’s life, and you can help us fill each season with lessons that last a lifetime. The Sports Volunteer cares about youth’s development and physical health by supporting recreational time and activities.

Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance to Sports Coaches, Officials, Sports Leadership as needed
• Monitor all equipment
• Work with site coordinators to set and clean up after classes, practices and games
• Assemble youth participants before classes, practices, games Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk and participate in sporting activity for extended periods of time Requirements:
• Minimum age of 14
• Enthusiastic, motivated and dependable, with the ability to relate to children & adults
• Positive role model for program participants
• Adhere to the YMCA Youth Sports and Values program philosophy
• Volunteer application
• Criminal Background Check (only for ages 18+)
• Signed Code of Conduct
