Our HOME swim meet is this coming Sunday, January 14th!
We are in need of 10 parent volunteer timers to make the meet run smoothly and successful! Without timers the meet cannot go on.
Being a timer is a super easy job and it gets you in front of the action! There are 2 timers behind each starting block. Timers check with the swimmer to make sure they are in the correct lane. Each timer will have a stopwatch to run. You will be starting and stopping the stopwatch and then writing down both stop watch times on a sheet.
Warmups begin at 8:00am
Meet Starts at 9am
We will be having a timers meeting at 8:40am in front of the vending machines in the hallway outside the pool doors.
The meet will probably take about 3.5 hours. I will know more on how long the meet will run closer to the date.
