The BreakAway Kids Triathlon and Family Splash & Dash are two separate events, both held at Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove, on Friday and Saturday, August 15 and 16.
It's Race Day!! When you arrive on Friday, we'll rely on you to help finalize the course, and then shift to race crew for The Splash & Dash. We'll be putting finishing touches on the course to include fencing, flagging, setting up tents and tables, and bike racks. Then at 2:30 we'll shift into race mode and will assign you to a designated spot as a course marshal. You'll help to keep racers safe and on-course, encouraging, and supporting where needed.
We'll need a few volunteers to bring their bikes, helmets and basic tools to ride the bike course and help bikers if needed. Please indicate in the Comments section if you can help with this support.
